Veronyk Zinn
Owner/Education Consultant
Veronyk has been part of Tutor Doctor Sudbury since 2012, working alongside her sister in the locally owned family business their mother originally started. With a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Marketing from Laurentian University, she brings a combination of business experience, a passion for education, and a genuine commitment to helping local families find the right academic support for their children.
As an Education Consultant and owner, Veronyk is involved in all of the day-to-day operations of Tutor Doctor Sudbury. She connects with families to learn about each student’s needs, goals, personality, and learning style, then helps guide the matching process to find the right tutor fit. She is also deeply involved in building and maintaining a strong tutor roster, from recruitment and onboarding to supporting tutors as they grow in confidence, experience, and skill. Veronyk takes great pride in creating strong tutor-student matches while also helping tutors feel supported and valued as part of the Tutor Doctor team.
Having worked with hundreds of families and tutors over the years, Veronyk believes that tutoring is about much more than improving a mark. Some of the most meaningful successes are seeing a student regain confidence, become more independent, or begin to believe in their own abilities. Building those relationships with students, parents, tutors, schools, and community partners is one of her favourite parts of what she does.
Community involvement continues to be important to Veronyk, and she is involved with Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC). She is also a proud wife and mom to two daughters, which gives her an even greater appreciation for just how busy family life can be and how important it is for children to have the right people in their corner.
When she’s not at the office, Veronyk can usually be found sitting on the sidelines of a soccer field, at a swimming pool, or cheering on her girls at one of their many activities. She is incredibly proud to call Greater Sudbury home and loves being able to support the students and families within the community she lives in.
Tiffanie Cormier
Owner/Education Consultant
Tiffanie has been part of Tutor Doctor Sudbury for more than a decade, working alongside her sister in the locally owned family business their mother originally started. With a diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Sciences, she brings a strong combination of analytical thinking, organization, and people-focused support to the Tutor Doctor team.
As an Education Consultant and owner, Tiffanie is involved in many of the behind-the-scenes operations that keep Tutor Doctor Sudbury running smoothly. She plays a key role in tutor recruitment, onboarding, administration, payroll, bookkeeping, scheduling, and ongoing tutor support, while also helping with client care and student matching. She has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in making sure both families and tutors feel supported, informed, and well looked after throughout their experience with Tutor Doctor.
Tiffanie is especially passionate about building a strong, dependable tutor team and helping tutors feel confident and supported in their roles. She enjoys getting to know tutors, helping them navigate new opportunities, and making sure they have the tools and guidance they need to succeed with their students.
Outside of work, Tiffanie is a proud wife and mom to two daughters. She enjoys sewing and, when she’s not at the office, can often be found at the hockey rink or curling rink cheering on her girls. Whether she is supporting a tutor, helping a family, or keeping the many moving pieces of the business organized, Tiffanie brings care, consistency, and attention to detail to everything she does.
