Meet the Owner

My family looks a lot like the families we serve at Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee, so when I say “I get what you’re going through,” I mean it! I’m a working mom of two, including a high schooler who learns with accommodations, so I know firsthand what it’s like to juggle a career, the activity carpools, and the homework battles — all while trying to raise kids who feel capable and confident. We can’t be everything to our children, and leaning on the right support isn’t falling short. It’s smart parenting.

After nearly 20 years leading, hiring, and developing teams, I built this business to combine the mentorship that shaped my own career with work that makes a lasting difference during the years that matter most. Many of the students we support are bright kids who simply learn differently — children with ADHD, executive-function challenges, or school accommodations like IEPs and 504 Plans, along with homeschool families and students who just need a confidence reset. What they need most usually isn’t more pressure. It’s the right one-to-one match, a patient approach, and someone who explains it in a way that finally clicks.

That’s the part our families tell me they feel. Their kids start looking forward to sessions. The tears over math turn into “I get it now.” Grades move, test scores climb, and — more importantly — confidence comes back. We meet students in your home or online, collaborate with their teachers, and serve as accountability coaches who build real, sustainable independence, not dependence on a tutor.

If we help a student get just 1% better each session, we create momentum, rebuild confidence, and spark genuine excitement for what’s ahead.

When I’m not networking or running my business, you can probably catch me hiking, reading, or doing hot HIIT or yoga classes!

My mission is simple, though never easy: help today’s students become tomorrow’s successful, capable adults.
