Meet Our Team
Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert
Christine Knight, M.S.
Tutor and Client Care Manager
Meet Christine. She’s a mom, a former classroom teacher, and usually the first voice families hear when they reach out to Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert — and she takes that first conversation seriously.
Christine grew up and taught in Connecticut before making Arizona home, and her path through elementary classrooms, graduate research, and now client care has given her something that’s hard to teach: the ability to see a student’s situation from every angle. She knows firsthand what it’s like to be a working mom in Arizona, navigating a education landscape that doesn’t always make it easy to find the right fit for your child. She’s worked with enough families navigating ADHD, IEPs, 504 plans, and homeschool journeys to know that most of them came to her wishing they hadn’t waited so long to ask for help.
That’s exactly why she’s committed to making the first call easy.
As a Certified Level One Non-Attorney Special Education Advocate (NASEAT), Christine brings an added layer of understanding for families working within — or trying to make sense of — special education systems. Whether you’re looking for the right tutor match, trying to understand your child’s assessment results, or just not sure where to start, she’ll ask the right questions and make sure you don’t have to figure it out alone. What Christine hears most from families is that they wish they’d called sooner.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exploring the Valley’s restaurant scene, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
